Chapter 64 Ginny’s Testimony

Ethan handed Voldemort's diary to Dumbledore. Dumbledore was not called the most powerful White Wizard for nothing. As soon as he got the diary, Dumbledore felt something strange about it.

"Ethan, this is..." Dumbledore repeatedly touched the cover of the diary with his fingers. He felt a familiar and evil aura in the diary.

"This is Tom's diary when he was sixteen. I think Tom stored a piece of his soul in it somehow." Ethan didn't dare to directly talk about the topic of Horcruxes. Ethan searched for it in the restricted book area. I haven't found any books about Horcruxes for a long time. Apparently these books have been destroyed or hidden for some reason.

Ethan then began to tell Dumbledore about his recent discoveries, Ginny's anomalies, the memory of framed Hagrid shown to him in Voldemort's notebook, and Voldemort's temptation to him.

Dumbledore's face became more and more gloomy as Ethan's narration, and he already had a terrible conjecture in his heart, about the reason why Voldemort would not die.

"Ethan, thank you, you did a very good job." Dumbledore's voice was a little hoarse. "I think I have to confirm something first." Dumbledore stood up and faced a man wearing a sharpie above the fireplace. The tall, thin wizard in the pointed wizard's hat whispered something, and then the wizard nodded and left his frame.

Dumbledore sat back in his chair again and asked about the details of Ethan's exchange with the diary. Soon there were footsteps at the door of the principal's office, and soon a timid Ginny appeared. The stairway to the principal's office.

"Miss Weasley, please come and sit down." Dumbledore asked Ginny in a soft voice to come and sit down.

This was the first time Ginny was called to the principal's office alone. Her face turned pale with nervousness. Especially after seeing Ethan also in the principal's office, Ginny had vague suspicions.

Dumbledore tapped the glass with his finger, and a whole glass of butterbeer quickly emerged from the glass. "Don't be nervous, Miss Weasley. I just asked you to ask some questions. Drink some butterbeer first." "Dumbledore said gently.

Dumbledore's attitude made Ginny relax a little. She sat opposite Dumbledore, picked up the glass filled with butterbeer and took a sip.

"Miss Weasley, can you tell us about the diary?" Dumbledore's blue eyes stared at Ginny's face through half-moon lenses.

Hearing Dumbledore's words, Ginny trembled as if she had been shocked by electricity, and her face instantly turned pale. She did not dare to look at Dumbledore and could only lower her head and look at her toes.

"Miss Weasley, we don't mean to blame you. This information is crucial to us. Can you tell us?" Dumbledore asked Ginny in as soft a voice as possible.

Ginny carefully raised her face and looked at Ethan and Dumbledore carefully with her brown eyes filled with tears. "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I can't say it, it was me." Ginny finally said Cried out.

Tears flowed down her cheeks, and Ginny covered her face and burst into tears for a while. Her psychological pressure during this period was too great, and poor Ginny endured far more pressure than she should have endured at her age.

Dumbledore said nothing, patiently waiting for Ginny to calm down, and thoughtfully handed Ginny a few tissues.

After a while, Ginny finally calmed down. With occasional sobs, Ginny continued to tell, "But... I swear I didn't mean it. It was Riddle who forced me. He... he controlled me." Got me."

After hearing the words Riddle, Dumbledore leaned forward slightly and stared at Ginny's face seriously, listening to her next narrative, "Miss Weasley, how did you communicate with Riddle?" Dumbledore asked.

"His diary!" Ginny sobbed. "I've been writing in it for half a year, and he's been writing back to me."

Ginny took a deep breath and stopped sobbing, "At first, he was very considerate, helped me study, and gave me a lot of useful ideas. Later, Riddle made me do a lot of terrible things. I don't know how. I just listened to what he said, I don't seem to remember clearly." Ginny seemed a little confused when it came to this.

"From that time on, I began to be afraid of Riddle, but I just couldn't get rid of him. Later, I heard Professor Ethan say in class that he had experience in dealing with this situation. I didn't dare to give him the diary directly, so I had to I threw the diary at the door of the office." At this point, Ginny glanced at Ethan sheepishly.

"Ginny, if you encounter this kind of thing next time, please ask the professors for help as soon as possible. We are more willing to help you than blame you." Ethan reminded Ginny. After hearing Ethan's words, Ginny He nodded quickly.

"Ginny, do you remember where you got the diary?" Dumbledore asked.

"I don't know." Ginny looked a little confused when she said this. "I found it when I was sorting out the books. It was sandwiched in the Transfiguration textbook."

Dumbledore frowned. He absolutely believed that Voldemort's diary could not belong to the Weasley family. The Weasleys were members of the old Order of the Phoenix, and it was also absolutely impossible for him to harm his daughter.

"Ginny, has anyone else touched your textbooks?" Ethan asked.

Ginny thought about it carefully, "I only did it when I was in Flourish and Blotts Bookstore. Oh my god!" Ginny suddenly screamed, and Dumbledore suddenly became energetic, thinking that Ginny had recalled something.

Ethan also breathed a sigh of relief. He had been trying to make Ginny remember that Lucius Malfoy had done it, and now it seemed that it finally worked.

"Professor Lockhart! He bumped into me at Flourish and Blotts Bookstore, could it be..." Ethan was a bit over the top, and he really admired this little witch's ability to associate.

Seeing that Dumbledore was still staring at Ginny seriously, wanting to hear more information about Lockhart from Ginny, Ethan quickly interrupted Ginny to prevent the topic from going astray.

"I'm pretty sure Lockhart didn't do it." Ethan interrupted Ginny calmly, which made Ginny and Dumbledore look at Ethan curiously. "Lockhart has no suspicion. I have already Confirmed." Looking at the eyes of the two people looking at him, Ethan had no choice but to explain.

Seeing that Ethan was so sure, Dumbledore had no choice but to nod his head and then asked: "Miss Weasley, besides Professor Lockhart, has anyone else come into contact with your book?"
