I have written so much, so I just took this opportunity to explain something. I believe some readers are confused, so I will explain it here.

First of all, regarding the issue of time travel, this book is not about a time traveler protagonist. Although I did think about writing about a time traveler, after all, the audience is wider and everyone would enjoy it, but in the end I chose to write about an indigenous protagonist. Based on many considerations.

The first is that the existence of time travel is very powerful. Not to mention throwing a modern person into a unique future world like 40K, but also taking our generation back to the collective era of the 1970s, and even the just-ended In the 1980s, I'm afraid most people were at a loss.

Because the huge differences in society are not that simple, it is difficult to quickly adapt to different living environments and working styles. For example, if we travel back to the 1970s, many people may not even know how to use food stamps, nor how to use them. Knowing that you have to go to the collective cafeteria to eat, it will be even more difficult to travel to 40K through time travel.

So I don’t really want to forcefully ignore or pretend that this huge difference does not exist, and then write a very embarrassing time traveler, just like most cool articles that ignore the logic of the facts, but want to write a good book.

Also, the author himself wanted to write a story with some depth, rather than simply having fun and be done with it, so I designed the character Vito. I personally think that an "indigenous" protagonist can better integrate into the world view. This story and In the background, it is more convenient to create, which may also be due to my own reading habits.

I have never been very fond of the popular Japanese light novel style. Although it is very relaxing and enjoyable to read, I think it is just like fast food and has no nutritional value. Of course, I know that many people like this type of genre. Everyone I read a lot of novels just for fun, and I don’t object, but I still want to follow my own heart first.

In fact, I don’t rule out the possibility that I will write a traveler-type book in the future. After all, if people don’t like indigenous books, I will make compromises. Self-pleasure is not a good thing. Of course, I hope everyone likes this book.

There is also the issue of the firepower of the Hive City gang at the beginning. In fact, I know that the intensity is outrageous, but my understanding of the novel is that writing a good story is the priority, and then whether it strictly conforms to the setting. I don’t really want to write a novel. A novel as rigorous as a thesis would be too troublesome and tiring.

In fact, the official Warhammer novels rarely mention gang wars. The reason is that gang wars are very boring. Basically, they are just gangsters fighting to level up. There is nothing interesting about the weapons. It can be said that they are not very exciting. This is also true in many places. Yes, it can be said that I actually amplified the firepower of the Warhammer universe a lot, for the same reason as mentioned in the Star Wars canon.

If you pursue the rigor of setting infinitely, you will miss many wonderful pictures, wonderful stories and plots, so I made some exaggerations in this aspect and worked hard to control the degree of exaggeration within a reasonable range. I need to admit that I do have a lot of textual research problems, and this mistake cannot be avoided.

Everyone’s criticisms and corrections are very welcome. I will try my best to make it as perfect as possible. I can see everyone’s opinions. I actually read the comments every day, but sometimes I don’t have time to reply. But if you have any questions, I will try my best to respond.

Once again, I hope you all like this book, and I also hope you can help me promote, collect and vote for it. Thank you for reading.
