The lifespan of the positive silicon 9 nanometer coating is determined by the properties of the positive silicon 9 molecules. This molecule can usually last for 80 to 90 years under normal temperature and pressure, and then gradually decomposes into single crystal silicon and polycrystalline silicon.

And if it is used as a kitchenware that is frequently heated, its lifespan will be greatly reduced. If it is used for three meals a day, it can last for about 9 years at most.

According to general household usage, silicon nano-coated non-stick pans can usually be used for between 12 and 15 years.

Compared with Teflon coating, ceramic coating, and silicone coating, the service life has been greatly extended, and there is almost no peeling or scratching during the service period.

Even if the silicon nano-coating enters the decomposition stage, no harmful substances will be produced. After all, the decomposition products are monocrystalline silicon and polycrystalline silicon.

Huang Xiuyuan wrote an approval note to the third team and handed it over: "Li Ying, I think this material has great potential. You can continue to study the lifespan of silicon nano-coating. You can consider applying it to non-stick pans and water pipes in the future."

The temperature of tap water pipes buried underground is very stable. When combined with silicon nano-coating, it is even more powerful. The coating can last for 80 to 90 years.

If multi-layer coating is used, even if the silicon nano-coating is decomposed, a relatively thick polysilicon layer will be formed on the surface of the pipeline, further extending the life of the pipeline.

Therefore, iron pipes using multi-layer silicon nano-coating will not be a problem when used underground.
