Chapter 42: Eat more blood-rich foods

After Jiang left the door, Yan Shijie saw the world separated from him by a wall.

They stood outside the door, and the world outside the door was a somewhat dark corridor.

Inside the door, as far as the eye can see, there are several unknown trees planted, each with lush branches and leaves. It is a world full of spring.

Yan Shijie has long wanted to go in and visit, but his wife kept nagging him.

Jiang Ning could see Yan Shijie's dissatisfaction, so she didn't say any more.

Jiang Li turned sideways and said, "Mom and dad, please."

Yan Shijie: “Honey, you go first.”

Jiang Ning walked through the door slowly. As soon as she entered the room, she was shocked by the sight in front of her.

Blue sky with white clouds, gentle breeze ruffling the leaves.

This is a scene that is impossible to see in an old building, let alone in a rental house.

Jiang Ning: "Is this really where Yan Jun lives?"

Jiang Li nodded.

Jiang Ning: "...If I lived in a place like this, I would rather be kicked out by the Yan family. Compared with this, the Yan family villa is really low."

Yan Shijie retorted, "Our villa is still very big. There are only a few shabby tile houses here, nothing can be as big as our villa."

Jiang Li: "Dad, we are just standing at the front door of this compound now. There are several yards behind it. All the yards here combined are several times larger than the Yan family villa."

Yan Shijie touched the tip of his nose, "Really? You pretended I didn't say anything just now."

Jiang would rather ignore Yan Shijie's embarrassment, and asked Jiang Li to take her to visit the house here.

Jiang Li: "I just saw three or four courtyards, and I'm not familiar with this place either."

Jiang Ning: "Then let's go visit together."

Jiang Li nodded, "Yeah!"

Then a mother and daughter were walking and shopping in front, and Yan Shijie followed them and looked around carefully.

By the time the three of them finished visiting the compound, they were already exhausted.

Finally, Jiang Li took her parents back to the room where she first woke up.

Yan Shijie and Jiang Ning, a couple, were sitting on a wooden chair in the room and the other was sitting on a couch.

Jiang Li went out, found the small kitchen in the courtyard, and boiled some water to make tea.

Jiang Li entered the room carrying a pot of tea, "I just made the tea, I don't know what it is, but it smells quite fragrant."

Yan Shijie doesn’t understand tea, but he does smell a strong tea aroma.

Yan Shijie held a cup of warm tea and drank it in one sip, just like dry white wine.

Jiang Ning drank a small sip and finished the cup of tea in three times.

Jiang Ning: “When I first smelled the aroma of tea, I just felt that the fragrance was too subtle, and subconsciously thought that the tea taste was too strong. After the tea was in my mouth, I realized that the tea tastes pure and mellow. It tastes good!”

Jiang Ning immediately went up and poured another glass.

This time she took a sip and tasted it carefully, trying to identify what kind of tea it was.

“I’ve never drunk this tea before. I don’t know what kind of tea this is?”

"It's not a good tea either. It has no name and has been left out for too long. Mom, if you like it, just take some back. I have a lot of tea."

As soon as Yan Jun came, she knew Jiang Ning liked this tea as soon as she saw the way Jiang Ning smacked his lips.

She has a lot of tea anyway, so just give some to Jiang Ning.

Jiang Li: "Yan Jun, wake up and come here."

Jiang Li wiped the non-existent dust on the wooden chair.

Yan Jun sat down and pointed at the now transparent stones that circled Jiang Li.

"Judging from the appearance of the jade, this jade is already worn out, and you have almost recovered. However, you still need to eat more blood-replenishing food when you go back."

Then Yan Jun fished it out and held seven glass-like stones in his hand.
